Happy Niu Year! Wishing everyone a year of joy and love ahead….

Chinese new year is a time of coming together with family.  On the first day, we will go to my grandma’s place to visit her. It is a nice feeling to go out as a family, something which we don’t do much of. Decked in our new clothes and looking fresh, we greet everyone with auspicious words. It is important to have an auspicious mood as it will bring good luck for the rest of the year. Thats y on this day everyone will say nice things and the house should be decorated. It is sad though that only on Chinese new year that all our relatives can have a chance to come together.  However recently becoz of my cousin bro becoming famous, it kinda created a  collective interest and brought us together.  That was something nice that came out of it.  Like this time he is back for chinese new year from Taiwan, it created an excited anticipation of seeing him again. He will be doing some promotional activities around the island in the coming weeks,  so some of us will be down to support him.

This year i think becoz of the economic recession, the festive mood outside is not as apparent.  but on the whole i enjoyed it.

While we are celebrating, being grateful for all they good things we have and basking in the warmth of our loved ones, let us do one more thing.

Please pray for a lady, her 3 children, her husband and their parents. Remember to also pass the requests around to all your friends and through your blog.
